We are currently building an international library, which will house books on the Buddhadharma and a wide range of other subjects in Tibetan, Nepali, and English. This library will be an invaluable resource for the monastics, helping them broaden and deepen their knowledge in ways that are meaningful in our cosmopolitan and ever-changing world.

In the coming years, we aspire to build a new temple at the monastery. This is very much needed, as our current temple can no longer accommodate the entire sangha. On special occasions, when the monks and nuns gather for puja and teachings, some have to sit outside in the veranda or dining hall. Likewise, when the local sangha gather to receive teachings from Rinpoche and to participate in our annual Vajra Guru accumulation, only a small portion of the sangha can fit inside the temple. The majority have to sit in the dining hall and in tents, listening via speakers and watching Rinpoche on TV screens.

We also plan to build retreat centers for the monks and nuns so that the senior monastics may have a conducive environment in which to deepen their spiritual practice.
