Namkhyung Publications is dedicated to preserving and propagating the teachings of Namkha Khyung Dzong, a sub-tradition of the Dudjom Tersar that began with Degyal Rinpoche (Pema Dechen Gyalpo), one of the thirteen principal disciples of Dudjom Lingpa. Namkha Khyung Dzong takes its name from the Dharma encampment established by Degyal Rinpoche near Mount Kailash in West Tibet. In recent decades, monasteries and nunneries upholding the Namkha Khyung Dzong tradition have been established in Nepal and India.
With the kind support of Tsadra Foundation, we have published Tibetan editions of Kyabje Dudjom Rinpoche’s A Torch Lighting the Way to Freedom: Complete Instructions on the Preliminary Practice of the Profound and Secret Heart Essence of the Dakini, Tulku Pema Rigtsal Rinpoche’s The Great Secret of Mind, and other precious texts.
