Annual Obstacle Dispelling Prayer: “Vajrakilaya Gutor Puja”
All the preparations has been completed today and from tomorrow on Feb. 26 – 28, 2014 at Namkha Khyung Dzong Monastery, Humla our Sanghas will perform three days annual obstacle dispelling prayer – “Vajrakilaya Gutor Puja” in order to avert any negativity from the previous year, in preparation to welcome Losar (New Years Day).
Gutor Puja activity is traditionally performed in the final days of the year to cleanse all negativities and undesirable circumstances and to pacify all illness, demonic influence, defilements and obstacles in order to start the New Year afresh. Vajrakilaya Gutor Puja held in our monastery is especially for our sponsors, donors, friends, organization members and for all related to our monastery to cleanse their negativities, obstacles and for their longevity and prosperous & positive new year ahead.
